   People,please,could someone tell me is there a way (plug in) that would allow me and the registered users on my blog to chat inside the dashboard (not on the main page). I'm using WP-UserOnline 2.40 plugin that allows all users see who's on line and WP Private Messages 1.0.1 but i would like to chat with them directly on the blog.

   Did you want something like a chatbox?

   If you're looking for something more like forums, you could always install bbpress and use hidden forums that can only be seen by registered users.

   I'm not sure why you want to allow all of your users dashboard access.

   batrachoid,thanks for your message.Yes,i'm looking for some kind of chatbox.btw,when they log in,all registered users see the dashboard but they see only a small part of options available.I'll try out the bbpress.

   Something like that? Not for the dashboard, but it could be adapted quite easily I think

   Any news? the dachat plugin seems more like a message board than a chat?
