   Today we upgraded to 2.2. Unfortunately, our blog was affected. We have reviewed our mysql database, and it is fine (no changes).

   The upgrade was made by a script of our hosting provider, so we do not know how it was exactly made.

   Any idea what is wrong on here?

   If you upgraded, then you should NOT be using DB_CHARSET or DB_COLLATE in your wp-config.php.
