    Hey guys,

Okay I know this is going to sound very strange, but is there any way I can safely rename every single link/page that has the "wp" prefix in it to something else?

Like instead of having "wp-register.php" and "wp-login.php", change them to "mysitesname-register.php" and "mysitesname-login.php"?

I know it sounds odd, but is it possible? If so, how? Or would I have to edit like 5,000 pieces of coding and would it simply be not worthy of my time?

    Thank you,
    Andrew

EDIT: Sorry I didn't realize I posted this in the "hacks and plugins" forum, please move to where neccisary.

I suppose it could be done. Come back by about Christmas and post your experience in changing the names in every piece of code. :>)

Hrmm... it would certainly be a huge challenge. I'm afraid I'm not aware of any easy/automated way to do it beyond firing up good ol' grep and vi and going to town (substitute your tools of choice of course).

Or a spiffy little sed/awk combo...
