AppstronautOkay, hey peeps...first and foremost...yes I have checked out http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress .... read it through...problem persists.
I am moving a few client wordpress sites from my DV server to a Grid Based server at media Temple. I used Coda, my FTP to save all the files on my computer before getting transfering the DNS zone file of the domain to the new server...( same domain)
Then I've created a DB, DB user, etc in C-panel.....uploaded all the files back onto the site with the new FTP log in creds....and then changed the wp-config file to have all the new database info.
But when I did, the clients site looks like it did when I first signed up...made me enter a user/password..then took me to the dashboard of a fresh install....all my files are still in there..but it's 2011 theme all over again...
What gives?
