• I am new to word press and do not know HTML. I want to change the width of the borders so it fills up more screen space. Where do I go to edit this? is there a step by step tutorial for this. there is so much information I am getting lost looking for help…

  • This will depend upon what theme you are using. It would either be a change to the css file, or a change to the image that makes up the background.

    It’s a little complicated jbiziou, Try installing a different theme, it’s probably easier than widening the default one.

    hmmmmmm,
    Yeah I looked around at the other themes but none of them did it for me, I want to design my own, but thought that I could start by learning how to customize an existing one.

    It would be nice if there were a Visual tutorial associated with the HTML information on how to do things, so you can see what the changes are….

    guess I will have to look around some more…thanks

    1. If you want to make your own design – start with anything but the Default 🙂
    2. If you don’t know HTML (as you stated in the OP), then this visual anatomy of a theme cannot help…
