My current theme is BlogoLife. I'm looking through some new themes and trying to decide if I want to switch themes. If I change it to a different theme, then decide I want to switch it back, will my site go back to exactly the way it was or will all the content be erased when the themes change?

Changing themes will not change or erase any content (posts and pages).
However if you change themes and then switch back to you original theme again, things like the sidebar widgets may need to be set up again.
