   Is there a way to change the order of my categories and my posts or is it set at when it was originally posted ?

   Those are two very different things. Are you trying to change the order that categories get listed in after each post, or are you trying to reorder your posts?

   reorder the posts as well as reorder the categories.........it's a ocd thing :)

   has anybody gotten any answer to how to change the order of your categories once you create them... I am about to pull my hair out

   Template_Tags/wp_list_categories#Parameters

   You can order them by ID, name (default) and count.
