Changing the color behind the slider (8 posts)

    I would like to change the color that comes up with the slider (red/burgundy), plus it is the same color of the menu buttons. I downloaded the child theme, but still can't figure out how to change it.
    Please help.

    Hey there Covidesign,

    Add this code to your child theme style.css. #802828 is the default color so you can just adjuct the hex color code to your needs.

    #slider-container {
      background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #802828;
    }

    Awesome! Thank you! Now how about the menu buttons/tabs, they are still burgundy.

    I usually use Firefox, but I could use Chrome. Why?

    Np glad it worked! If you want to be able to do these kind of modifications yourself. I suggest you get a Firebug extension where you can do modifications quickly then just add them to your style.css.
