    Install a Custom CSS plugin
    http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-css-manager-plugin/

    Use that plugin to manage your CSS modifications:

    .hentry.no-thumbnail {
     background: deeppink;
    }

    .hentry.no-thumbnail:hover {
     background: deepskyblue;
    }

    The color I want to have set (not hover) is 00B1B0

    If I install the plugin, do I place the color code? you wrote deeppink, deepskyblue...

    This is what my codes looks like:

    .hentry.no-thumbnail {
    background: #00B1B0;
    border-radius: 180px;

    and the color doesnt show right
