I'm trying to change the background color of the sidebar. It certainly looks as if it should be this:
carrington-blog.css
#sidebar {
background-color:#e9eaea;
}
But the sidebar background is white. And when I change that color, nothing happens. I looked at it in 3 different browsers just to be sure it wasn't a browser issue.
When I change the background of the page as a whole in typography.css body {background-color}, the sidebar still stays white.
Where oh where is the sidebar background color kept?!

dude you can do it . but not directly. you can edit the side bar color in few steps. i have a customized side bar in my site. you can check there
the steps are simple
first you download and unzip the carrington blog theme pack
and then you open the folder and look for a folder called css
inside css folder look for file carrington-blog.css
you can edit the sidebar background or any color from there
and upload the theme again. i used dream weaver to cedit that file. if you have reall difficulty in doing it on your own. you can contact me at my email.
