Changing Subdomain (4 posts)

I signed up, tested WordPress, and deleted my account so I could change subdomain. My old (deleted) site says "this site has been suspended or deleted", and I can't do anything with it. I can't sign in for another wordpress.com blog, either, since the email address is "taken"...

  2. We are not affiliated with the operation of WordPress.com. Unfortunately, the only "official" way to contact their support team is through the "Feedback" tab in the dashboard your of WordPress.com blog. Since you no longer have a WordPress.com blog, that would impossible.

If you want to make an attempt to contact the WordPress.com support team without the dashboard's Feedback form, you could try the contact form listed on the website for Automattic, the "company" which provides the WordPress.com service.

Thanks, I'll try that. I assume my blog will eventually "die" and cease to exist, or will it conceivably exist forever and ever?

I also have extra email accounts that forward to my regular account (courtesy of ISP and mail provider merger), but I'd prefer not to go that route if possible.

  4. If you voluntarily chose to delete your account, then it should "die and cease to exist" eventually.
