changing slug and enabling readers to find old slug URL (3 posts)

I created a post & then noticed that I'd spelled a key word (a newspaper's name) in my post title wrong. I worried that the misspelling would cause me to lose Google traffic fr. those who performed searches using the correct spelling of the paper's name. So I changed the slug name to the correct spelling.

Problem is, I'm getting lots of Google traffic fr. both the old & new slug names, but those visiting using the old slug name are getting a "post not found" msg.

Is there any easy way to allow visitors to find the old slug? I guess I could use htaccess but I'd prefer another option if there is one. Any ideas? Could I create a 2nd post using the old slug name? But that seems silly since there'd then be 2 versions of the same post.
