   I currently have a minisite installed in a subdirectory of my server (http://www.server1.org/minisite). I eventually plan on migrating the entire installation to a new server, but in the short term, would like to update the Site URL of my minisite to reflect the URL of the new server.

   So, in effect, is it possible to keep my minisite installation at a server location like this:

   http://www.server1.org/minisite

   But change the Site URL to something like:

   http://minisite.server2.org

   Would entering the second URL bring up the original installation until I have time to migrate everything permanently.

   From what I know of, it is not possible.
