Changing Site URL (2 posts)

    Just made a wordpress installation at http://iamsyn.com/wp-wytink/.

    However, I want to use http://wytink.com as my wp domain.

    When I add new wp pages, I noticed that they are linking to http://iamsyn.com/wp-wytink/page name] instead of http://wytink.com/page name].

    I have already tried to change variables WP_HOME and WP_SITEURL at wp-config.php but still no improvement.

    define('WP_HOME','http://wytink.com');
    define('WP_SITEURL','http://wytink.com');

    What do I need to configure in wp admin?

    Thanks.

    It sounds like you need to go to Settings -> General within the WordPress admin and change your WordPress Address and Site Address to http://wytink.com. You shouldn't have to make any changes within wp-config.php. You may have to go through and fix some of your links afterward.

    ***The moment you save this change you will get an error saying file not found!***

    Open http://wytink.com/wp-admin and you should be back in business.
