   Hi

   I am looking to transfer my site within the same server from http://www.mydomain.com/newsite to http://www.mydomain.com

   How would i go about doing this?

   First, you need to change the two URLs in Settings/General to reflect the new location, then move the files, then re-save your permalinks at Settings/permalinks in your admin panel. See this for more info:
