changing plugins and violating licenses (3 posts)

    i donwlaoded a plugin and didn't like how it output the contents.
    so I went into the plugin and changed some code to suit my needs?

    can I do that?

    is it allowed?
    or do the plugins here have some sort of license?

    Most plugins are licensed so that you can make changes to them if you want. The reason you have the plugin editor is for you to play with the code and edit it if you want/need to. You change the code. Perfectly fine.
