I’ve been fiddling with the settings to try to bring up the image ‘alt’ tag in the pinterest button, but no matter which way I order the two options (‘Image Title’ and ‘Image Alt Attribute’), the title is the only tag that displays.

    Any way to debug this?

(As an aside, it would be awesome to have the image description be a third option…)

Solved my own problem – when media is added to a post, the ‘alt’ tag is hard-coded into the post, so updated the alt tag in the Media are will not affect images that have already been added to posts.

Short answer – plugin works fine; you just have to make sure the ‘alt’ tag attribute is set properly before you add it to a post (no updating it later).
