   Hi, am new to wordpress, just uploaded and am setting up database info in config file.

   My question is on most other scripts I enter db info into config file then change permissions on it and also delete or rename install folder or file.
   I dont see anything concerning this is the installation directions, perhaps they are already set>

   You enter the database connection details in wp-config.php.

   EDIT: If you want to add additional security to your WP install, have a look at Hardening_WordPress
