changing Permalinks gives me a 404 or a 500 error

    Hi there

    I`m having a major issue here.

    Every time I change the permalinks to a style diferent from the Default one I recieve or an error 500 page on every thing (wp-admin and the site itself) or 404 page when trying to move to another page besides the home page and the wp-admin.

    Whats happening?

    Some help please

    What’s your web site error logs say? If you have cPanel, you can check the error logs from your control panel. There are many reasons for 500 error.
