Hello, I have an old site with 300-400 indexed pages. I am using %year%/%month%/post-name.html permalink on my wordpress blog...

Now I want to change the permalink to http://www.site.com/this-is-title for the new posts only without changing the permalink of old posts...

THe old posts will have the same old permalink and new ones will be published on a new permalink...

I don't want to use the 301 redirect here..

Is there any way to do this?

    nope.
just incase you end up using redirects then try this: http://yoast.com/wp-content/permalink-helper.php. its by YOAST and suits /postname/ structure..
