    #1 Some of us have big sites build on WordPress and because our content is so important we don't cache the sitemap.

    I saw that you have implemented

    "Allow changing of the number of posts per XML sitemap, to prevent memory issues on certain installs."
    This feature would be very good but now it is not working as expected.

    #2 in wpseo-functions.php @ line 171
    change

    '%%excerpt%%' => ( !empty( $r->post_excerpt ) ) ? strip_tags( $r->post_excerpt ) : utf8_encode( substr( strip_shortcodes( strip_tags( utf8_decode( $r->post_content ) ) ), 0, 155 ) ),

    into

    '%%excerpt%%' => ( !empty( $r->post_excerpt ) ) ? strip_tags( $r->post_excerpt ) : ( substr( strip_shortcodes( strip_tags( ( $r->post_content ) ) ), 0, 155 ) ),

    So characters like ș, ț, ă are not replaced by ?

    #1 How i tested
    I limited sitemap to 3 posts

    The plugin does this
    index http://i.imgur.com/CsWZF.jpg
    post sitemap 1 http://i.imgur.com/iIh1X.jpg
    post sitemap 2 http://i.imgur.com/7fk0O.jpg
    post sitemap 3 http://i.imgur.com/DMeU0.jpg
    post sitemap 4 http://i.imgur.com/R6LUY.jpg
    post sitemap 5 http://i.imgur.com/F6amu.jpg
    Do you see that the post sitemaps have almost the same posts ?

    But it should display only
    post sitemap 5 http://i.imgur.com/F6amu.jpg
    because those 3 posts are the newest added.

    #2 My site is running UTF8. Database is of type MyISAM with Collation utf8_general_ci. Romanian sites using your plugin display ? instead of ș, ț, ă etc

    But only for auto-generated meta description. If the description is entered by hand in the post WordPress SEO by Yoast meta box then everithing is ok.

    So it is a plugin bug.

    #3 It would be nice if you allowed filters/hooks to your plugin because some of us whant to hide this http://i45.tinypic.com/k49kb9.jpg - Seo Check and other stuff.
