Changing Music Players PLEASE HELP | WordPress.org

Hello,
I run a music blog and I am currently in the process of switching to a self hosted site. I was using the wordpress audio player on my wordpress.com account and now I am having a hard time getting a player that will play the code from the old music player. Do I need to change all of the old code? or is there an audio player that will play the same code as the wordpress.com’s player? Very new to all this and really need help. Thanks

Hi mike, what you need is a audio player plugin for wordpress, for instance:
But I think you will have to upload your mp3’s on your server/wordpress/3rd party service, depending on what plugin you will use.

Thanks for the response but that doesnt help my problem. I have imported all my posts from my old blog and all the old mp3s seeems to have been imported as well. Since the wordpress.com blog used the short code [audio "file url"] no plugin will read the code and change all my old posts with that short code into a audio player. Is there a way to change all of the short codes to fit the required short code for my new player? or is there a player that will read that short code?
