    hi,

i did a quick search for this topic but couldn't seem to find anything...

basically what i want to do is change the default text/images that show up on the WP login screen, and replace them with my own images & text.

i was wondering which file i would edit to do this? i haven't looked yet, but i thought i'd ask in case this would be a bad idea or could possibly break something.

    thanks for any help/advice!

    Cheers,

    Mugget

Yeleek points you in the right direction. First back-up and then change these files: wp-admin.css and wp-login.php to suit your needs.

You can find some hints here: http://brams.dk/2005/05/18/building-a-member-site/
though it's a bit old. I just did it and it works well. I still have some changes to make, but I'm happy to have found the info here.

It would be great if someone could write a plugin to deal with customizing the backside of WP.

Just remember that any time you have to upgrade wp, you'll have to redo all the changes.
