   I'm moving a WordPress blog at http://www.mydomain.com/blog
   It is being moved to a new webhost where it will reside at http://www.mydomain.com (no subdirectory)
   The original install is at v 2.6 while the new install (set up by Fantistico) is v 2.6.2
   In all my reading I think I am hearing that the plugins and themes just copy straight over. It is the database that I am worried about. I have backed everything up and ran the WordPress Database Backup plugin (2.2.1).
   Many of the different instructions I have read say different things about how to restore or import the original database. I am especially concerned about moving it out of a subdirectory and changing versions. Could someone please either explain step by step what to do or give me a link to correct (and clearly explained) instructions that you know to be the correct method for doing what I am attempting to do. I really appreciate it.
