Changing headline-picture to full width

hey,

I’m using twenty fourteen. After hours of research I finally found out how to adjust the site to full width using the extended plugin but now the headline picture is not full width. It’s just cut a couple of cm before the right border. Does anyone know how to set that to full width, too?
