• Hi,

I am using the “sunspots” theme, and I’m trying to change the text of the header to a 16kb, JPG image that is 247px x 96px which is my logo that I want my blog to share with my website. I try to upload it according to the instructions, and I get this message:

The uploaded file could not be moved to /www/zymichost.com/j/e/n/jenniferwelch/htdocs/Blog/wp-content/uploads

I’ve also tried uploading it through the media library, and I get a message saying “error saving media attachment.”

Does anyone know what the problem could be? I’d appreciate anything.

    Thanks,
    Jennifer

  • Hi Jennifer,

Have you changed the permissions of this folder (/wp-content/uploads) on FTP? This folder need to have permissions 777 (read/write/execute). Set this and try upload again.

Yes, the permissions for the folder are at 777, it doesn’t upload even with that set. I just get the same message as before. Is there anything that might be standing in the way? 🙁
