• I’m building a new website using the Swift theme (incredibly flexible, customizable theme!!!). Problem is, there are some font choices for the header, but my client’s site is Wild West themed and she’d like a font that looks like the “wanted” poster on the site. I found some online and as far as “normal” fonts go, Wide Latin looks okay, but I’m not sure where or how to change this in the .css file. Can I somehow upload a new font, or how would that work? I tried to modify the H1 settings, but I’m not sure I did it right. Here’s the site link: Deputy 5 Farm. Thanks for your help!

  • That font is unlikely to work as CSS fonts require that the end-user has that particular font on their machine. You might want to investigate Google Fonts or Cufon.

The other option with Swift Themes is to put an image into the header, there is a location for this in the “Header” tab in the Swift Control Panel – “Custom Logo”
Create and save as an image the text you want in the header in a.
This way, as an image, there would not be a problem with it being unreadable for a viewer.

Thank you – that’s helpful – we’ll see what the client wants to do!
