    Go to the theme options, open the Custom CSS box add the codes below

    .main-navigation { background: red; }
    .site-footer .footer-credits { background: red; }

    Change the ‘red’ to fit your needs.

    Thanks Marga. I followed your instructions with “blue” instead of “red” and it changed the color no problem. However, I am looking for a “dark blue” instead of the bright blue that shows up with “blue”. Is there a code list I can look up for colors? If not, can you provide the instruction code for a dark blue please.

    Please check this link http://desktoppub.about.com/od/colorweb/tp/Dark_Blue_Colors.htm use the Hex Code , for example #000033

    I uploaded a custom header image for Theme #7373 v.1.1.2 and WP allowed me to crop it to standard size. On the Header edit view screen it looks exactly the same dimensions as the default header images. But when it uploads onto the site theme, it appears shorter than the default on the right side. Is there a fix for this or instructions on how to specify demensions?

    Please try to update the theme, the latest version is 1.5
