    Hi All
I successfully installed my wp blog as a sub directory of my website. THen I decided to make it a separate url and registered its name (using the original IP but as an Addon URL). This is when my problems started.

When I try to access the blog via its new URL I get the following:

Warning: main(/home/axbecom/public_html/eastcoastpropertynews/wp-includes/cache.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/axbecom/public_html/eastcoastpropertynews/wp-settings.php on line 109

Warning: main(/home/axbecom/public_html/eastcoastpropertynews/wp-includes/cache.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/axbecom/public_html/eastcoastpropertynews/wp-settings.php on line 109

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/axbecom/public_html/eastcoastpropertynews/wp-includes/cache.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/axbecom/public_html/eastcoastpropertynews/wp-settings.php on line 109

I have checked the WP files - wp-includes - on my hard drive but there is no file called 'cache.php'

    Does anyone have a suggestion?
    Thanks in advance

You really should have a cache.php in the wp-includes/ directory, so I'd check again for that file and if you don't have it, download the WordPress install and extract it from that.

    Hi Kafkaesqui
I downloaded WP again and installed the /cache.php file in WP-settings.

However no joy! When I enter the url it just comes up with a blank page. A look at the source file reveals a page with nothing on it.
I tried adding the wp-install - just in case - but the message was 'appears to be already installed'.

    the URL is: http://www.eastcoastpropertynews.com

Thanks for any suggestions - other than starting all over!
