    Hi All,

Can anyone let me know how I can change my Simple Sidebar font?

    Currently my sidebar.php reads:

[Code moderated as per the Forum Rules. Please use the pastebin]

With the sidebar section in my stylesheet reading:

[CSS moderated as per the Forum Rules. Please just post a link to your site.]

If you need the site, it can be found at: http://www.hire-jumping-castles.com.au

Thanks all, sorry for newbishness I will need where I will need to put what!

    Thanks all,

    Sam

best bet is probably to add the 'font-family' formats to the style of #leftside, as there is no element with the css id of #extra in the linked page.

    http://www.w3schools.com/css/pr_font_font-family.asp

    ps:
you might want to edit this image (graphic editor) to reflect the new width of your theme:
    /wp-content/themes/wp-andreas01/img/bg.gif

    Thanks,

So if I changed it to read:

[CSS moderated as per the Forum Rules. Please just post a link to your site.]

    Would that work?

    Thanks,

    Sam

you can't do much wrong with changes to the stylesheet - so just try it.

make a backup copy of the theme files before editing

and please use the http://pastebin.com/ for any code longer than 10 lines ;-)

Thanks, yes I have learnt my lesson in back ups the hard way!

    Whats Pastebin?

    Thanks,

    Sam

<smile> don't ask so many questions - take action and try things ;-) </smile>

just click on it - pastebin is a site that makes sharing code easy.

you get a space to paste your code into,
then at the bottom you have some fields to select, such as syntax highlighting, how long the paste shold stay up, etc.
    then press submit,
and copy the new address in the top browser address bar.

post this address here into your thread in the forum, and everyone interested can have a look at the code - with line numbers and easy to edit and to reply with.

    Champion it worked again!

Thanks! FYI I used the following line in below my links section:

    #leftside a {font-family: jokerman;}

    (Change Jokerman to ideal font)
