Changing default wording on job listing page when no job is listed (3 posts)

    Hi,

I'd like to know how I can change the default wording for when there are no jobs listed as I simply want to use the page to allow people to submit resumes, rather than list jobs.

When I go to the job listings page in wordpress I find the following text...
"Hi! This page is used by your Job Manager plugin as a base. Feel free to change settings here, but please do not delete this page. Also note that any content you enter here will not show up when this page is displayed on your site."

However, when the page is viewed the page displays the following text...

"We currently don’t have any jobs available. Please check back regularly, as we frequently post new jobs. In the meantime, you can also send through your résumé, which we’ll keep on file."

Clearly this text is hidden somewhere in the logic of the program - how can I change it?

    cheers

    Andrew

Ah ha. Thanks so much for the help.

Can I add the following clarifications for anyone who may need the same query resolved in the future.

The relevant file is frontend-jobs.php and the phrase to be altered can be found on line 305.

To edit the file you will need to use an FTP client to retrieve the file from your website server (I used FileZilla).

Copy the file(adding the term - original to the file name. You can now edit frontend-jobs.php with the confidence of knowing that if it all goes bad there is a backup!

Editing is simply a matter of using a suitable PHP editor (I used Notepad++).

Once edited save the file and then FTP it back onto the server.
