Changing blog post "more" button a few other questions

Hello,

I’ve managed to translate other “more” buttons in on my blog, but I can’t find the solution for translating the blog entry more button.

Is there any way to do that?

Another question: I’m quite new to WordPress and I’m having trouble to get titles for slider. The instruction says something about header, but I can’t find such thing in post section.

And another: is there a way to lock welcome post so the title and the image can’t be clicked? Now when I click it it directs me to separate post page, which isn’t what I’m aiming for. I want it to be just a sticky information on the front page.

And yet another question: Is there a way to leave “Events” section but to disable featured posts OR disable only events section and leave featured posts section? I wanted to use “Events” section as “Newest posts on blog” section so featured posts section would be kinda useless for me. When I use Slider+Blog theme I lose both of them plus welcome post, which is quite important for me.
