[resolved] changing blog address options (3 posts)

    - have 2 wp installs on the same domain (different folders and databases).
    - 2nd is for testing of restored backups.
1st is set to look (correctly) for index.php in the root folder of the domain.
    - 2nd has somehow (incorrectly) been set the same way, and needs to look for index.php in its own default wordpress folder.

However, I can't log in to change these options from the Control Panel, as the link loops to the domain root and finds the 1st copy's files. Typing the address manually in the browser causes the same thing.

Looked in options-general.php in the /admin but the settings there are abstractions, leading somewhere else for the actual settings.

Anyone know how to do this?

    thanks.

I think your best bet would be to try this tutorial
http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/site-url/ to change the siteurl and home values in the options table of the database.
