    I have a problem. I have successfully installed WP, in my http://www.verocity.org/wp directory. I want people to see my blog when they visit my website at http://www.verocity.org

    I changed the blog address to http://www.verocity.org under options, and kept the wordpress address at http://www.verocity.org/wp

    But when you visit my website, my blog isn't showing up, and I have no idea what to do. Please help!

    Okay, what you'd want to do is basically make an index.php file and put in your root folder, and then put this in it:

    <?php
    header('location: /wp/');
    ?>

    That should fix your problem.

    Hit me in live chat over at http://htmlfixit.com and I can talk you through it. Are you sure that you put the index.php file in the root directory and then changed the include?

    You could also put a plain html file in the root with a refresh command if you really wanted to. If you are not going to use the base directory, then why bump it up a directory?
