changing background colour in intrepidity

    I am refreshing this site http://reviveandthrive.co.uk but it uses the theme Intrepidity which is a different set up to my own site. I would like to do two things

    1. change background to white or a lighter colour rather than the dark blue. can this be done?

    2. for some reason the menu is showing cookie policy despite me not selecting it. I am changing the menu but it talks about using the custom menu widget which I’m not sure about

    I don’t use code but can follow instructions if I know where to look!
