[resolved] Changing background color of info window (4 posts)

    I need to be able to change the background color of the info window that appears when you click on a map marker. Reason is that all my site text is white as I use a black background. So, I need to change the info window background to black in order to read the white store info text.

    I have the Pro pack, so I could enter custom CSS if provided with the code. Thanks!

    div#map div div div div div div {
    background-color: black;
    }

    OR

    div#map div div div div div div {
    color: black;
    }

    The 2nd option will only change the font color to the default black-on-white, BUT it will not work on your theme because your theme uses !important on the font color for the main container (!important is NOT a good idea and should be avoided if at all possible).

    Thanks, but option 1 changes the entire map to black so you no longer see the map. Is there code to change only the info window?

    My developer fixed the problem. He added CSS code to override the info window's text directly, applying the styles to the theme's stylesheet.
