changing background color of banner

    Ok, I have successfully set up my menu bar under the header and before the banner container.

    I have tried to change the background color of the banner through editing the bannercontainer div but it does not work.

    Please let me know how I can change this to differentiate it from the menu bar.

    Try changing this in the theme options (APPEARANCE > THEME OPTIONS menu). These theme option styles get added to your site head after the style.css is add, so it might be overwriting you own style.

    Thank you! I’d forgotten I’d set those.

    </wink> I thought it an odd coincidence that your banner and footer backgrounds matched my site color scheme selections!
