1st PROBLEM: How can I change myself from a user to an admin IF I cannot reach the creator/current Admin?

(*) NOTE: I have Version 3.7.3
(*) NOTE: http://www.whois.com/whois/testsellyourhome.com

Paid someone to build my WP website. They told me they’d give me a tutorial (never did), that I’d be an Admin and be able to control my site BUT I cannot. I found out that I am NOT an Admin and that is why I cannot perform the below items on: http://testsellyourhome.com/

I installed “FileZilla” but don’t know what else to do. I also downloaded but did not install “phpMyAdmin” (http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpmyadmin/?source=dlp) – is this a step in right direction? I did not install “phpMyAdmin” yet b/c there are a lot of files in the zip folder and it did not automatically RUN/install.

2nd PROBLEM: “How to” Items #1 – 3

(1) Download WordPress 3.9 & set up for AUTO updates ?

(2) Verify my WordPress Website in Google Webmaster Tools by uploading the Google HTML verification code to my website?
CODE: google-site-verification: google70336b09ce2d28b3.html

(3) Add a Tracking Snippet to header of my website?

SNIPPET:

<!–VISISTAT SNIPPET//–>

<!–VISISTAT SNIPPET//–>

THANK YOU !!

• To change your user to an admin that has to be done via the database and thats what you need phpmyadmin for.

The other items can be done easier if you have admin access.

great! “phpMyAdmin” did not automatically install. I tried using the RUN command but still can’t figure this out. if you know how to install that would be very helpful. thank you.

P.S. ok I just downloaded & installed XAMPP. looks like having that will let me install phpMyAdmin

(ref: http://docs.phpmyadmin.net/en/latest/setup.html)

Installing on Windows

The easiest way to get phpMyAdmin on Windows is using third party products which include phpMyAdmin together with a database and web server such as XAMPP.
