   I would like to get rid of comments and only have Categories & archives down the side.

   So far I have http://www.julianna-margulies.diva-host.com/articles/

   anyways I deleted the whole thing from my server but when I try installing again i'm told I already have a database and i meed to clear it all first. Who do i do that?

   um. the site's there - no need to install again...

   and please, don't ever think that deleting the whole thing and putting it back up are ever going to be the best solution to your problem.

   now - try doing something like reading the codex to learn about how to manipulate themes and such (and please don't try to modify the default theme - it's a pain in the you-know-what!)
