   Whenever i log out of the wordpress, the changes made in the design get lost.

   If i log in again and then view the same web pages, the changes are reflected.

   Is this because of some plugin or what?

   Have you tried deactivating all plug-ins to see if one of them is causing that problem?

   Also be sure you don't have any caches.

   And try changing to twentyeleven to see if the problem is theme-specific.

   If you are using WP-Super-Cache or any caching plugins, make sure you clear that cache so that the site will reflect the changes.
