Created a simple, 5 page website for my business using Arjuna X. I was having trouble getting the site to open at my "home" page. Would only open at blank template page that said "nothing here yet."
So, went to settings and changed the URL to http://www.picklelaw.com/home. Now, my website opens in a text format, template is gone. Biggest problem is when I try to login at http://www.picklelaw.com/wp-admin it gives me an error/page not found. I attempted to access the database but tells me error/incorrect login/password. CRAZY! Me, not WordPress :) TIA.

change the url back to original
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL
then do it properly, once you have access again(if you in fact wish to change url):
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress
    or
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory

    OK, I'm back in!

Now, website opens at template page "there is nothing here yet." When I click on a page it brings me to oops page. All pages are still saved in draft form but cannot preview. Keep getting the old page. Is there a cache to delete somewhere?

see if resetting your permalinks helps....?

set to default and test your site (you may have to delete .htaccess file)

if yer good then set back to custom

you should be able to set it however you want and have it work now. Going back to default just sorts out the trouble. Stay on default or switch to custom is up to you, both should work

    Hi there - curious question:

Picklelaw, how did you get back into your database login after you were getting an error message?

Would be a great help! Thanks!
