Greetings! I'm working on a website for my mother. Her root site, hosted by hostmonster, is: lesliejwyatt.com, and I had designed the wordpress site at: lesliejwyatt.com/redding. Once I finished the design, I altered the Site and Home URL's to read http://lesliejwyatt.com, thinking I could point the WP to the domain. Instead, I now get a "404 Not Found. The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable." I can't login to the dashboard either.

I've spent hours reading suggestions online but nothing is working.

    Can anyone help me?

See Changing_The_Site_URL for details of how to do this.

Hi esmi. Thank you for the link; I had already tried everything applicable in it, and to no avail.

    What else can I do?

I think you need to confirm where you installed WordPress. I cannot find any signs of it at lesliejwyatt.com/redding

I installed it through hostmonster, so I believe that was on the domain lesliejwyatt.com. Then, when indicating where it should be found, I put lesliejwyatt.com/redding. After finishing design, I changed that to lesliejwyatt.com and that is when everything went south.

Check via FTP where you installed WordPress.

Hi. It is in a folder named "Redding" in the public_html file.

Hello. Thank you for your responses to this point; I didn't hear back from on the last one. Where should I have installed the WordPress?
