   Hello,

   I just upgraded my site to WP 2.3.3

   As I commonly do when I upgrade, I change my password. There are only two user accounts on my site, the admin account and a backup admin account under another name which I leave there for emergencies such as this.

   After changing my password, I was kicked out of my site and brought back to the login screen. I tried my new password and it didn't work. I tried my backup account and password, also did not work. I have tried having WP email me new passwords for both accounts, also will not work.

   Short of doing surgery on my database thru PhPAdmin, which is the direction I think this is going, could I possibly import the wp_users table alone or copy the hashes from that database into the current wp_users?

   And, is this a bug others have found? I did a search and found nothing, and I apologize if this is a duplicate thread.

   This seems to be a much different issue.

   When I tried the exact same operation using IE as a browser, the new passwords worked.

   I was using Firefox, which did not work.

   Now, my question is -- is this bigger than pilot error and could this be a theme compatibility issue with Firefox? Which really doesn't make much sense, but one wonders why something would work with IE and not firefox.

   Strange.

   Just did an upgrade from 2.5 to 2.6 it appears the same issue exsists.

   And again i resolved it by using ie instead of FF pretty weird normally its the other way round with ie not enabling so of the php scripts.

   Werid one this one but it appears there is an issue with the password reset function and firefox. If i get time I'll dig deeper and see what comes up and post here.

   Otherwise if you get this issue just use ie to reset your passwords in.

   Only issue now is can only log in using ie thats really weird.
