I should add that I don’t believe an email is being sent to the couple subscribers that I’ve picked up since making the switch. I re-added myself as a subscriber and I am not receiving an email with a new post I put up.
With Jetpack, your stats information is connected to a unique blog ID. Sometimes, if a site owner was using a development site or a different address when they set up Jetpack, disconnecting may create a new blog ID. When this happens, it may appear that your stats were lost.
That’s what happened on your site; it previously used a different site URL, 69.195.124.110/~fashiqo2/ffoad/.
I have fixed the issue, and you should be able to get your Stats and Subscribers back by going to the Jetpack menu in your dashboard, and disconnecting / reconnecting to WordPress.com.
Thank you.
Jeremy,
Thank you very much for your reply! You are correct that I had originally installed WordPress into the ffoad subdirectory, but moved it to the top level domain. However, I have done as you said and disconnected/reconnected to WordPress.com through the Jetpack menu and my stats and subscribers are still unchanged. What am I missing?
Thank you!
Keep in mind that prior to moving it to 69.195.124.110/~fashiqo2/ffoad/, the site was hosted at GoDaddy at 173.201.93.128. I currently have nikkihuston.com pointed at 173.201.93.128 so I can still access all my WordPress content, but that is the address that fashionfindsonadime.com was pointed to prior to switching hosting companies.
Can you try to disconnect / reconnect once again?
Thanks.
Jeremy,
Success! I see that I’ve now lost the data from the last few days, which is no big deal, but thought I’d point that out in case there’s a way to merge the two together. If not, my issue has been fixed! Many thanks for your help!
I merged these few days of data into your current Blog ID.
Do not hesitate to open a new thread if you have any other questions.
Happy blogging!
Jeremy,
You rock! Thank you for going the extra mile.
