    Hi,

I’ve recently changed my domain and moved my blog… So, I’ve successfully changed all the parameters, replaced URLs in the database, and all works fine – except for one thing: the custom permalinks are all screwed up… So, the default permalinks (?p=xxx) work, but when I set custom permalinks (they were already set in the database before the migration), I get 404 errors…

Now, all paths in the settings are correct, the address in the link is the one it should be, but I just can’t seem to make WordPress redirect… Same thing for pages, not only posts.

    What am I doing wrong?

Check to see if WP has the ability to write to (or create) your .htaccess file – if not you may need to create one yourself and upload it

Well, the .htaccess is there, it’s writeble, and its contents are:

    # BEGIN WordPress

    # END WordPress

Do I have add something there so that the redirection can work?

Ooops… I didn’t notice at first that the apache rewrite module was off… Problem solved 🙂
