   Greetings,

   If any of you can throw your knowledge at this problem I'd greatly appreciate it.

   After using the following solution http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory
   my site now hangs on random pages for several minutes before progressing to another page when a link has been clicked. I can not determine what exactly is slowing my site to a crawl? Has anyone else had this problem occur when placing index.php outside of the wordpress directory?

   Is this a unique problem that no one else has experienced?

   Not sure what occured, but the site is loading fine now. Maybe the server just needed time to recognize the changes.
