• I activated an inactive plugin on my local install, and received an error message that wouldn’t let me access the admin panel. So I went into the backend to manually remove it from the active plugins (custom plugin named OPG Lock) to try to get my backend working again.

    Now I have limited access to the admin panel, things like Plugins, Users, and Appearance no longer appear. When I try to access the Plugins page, I get the “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page. ” message.

    Checked my username wpcapabilities settings, they’re correct: a:1:{s:13:”administrator”;b:1;} So it’s not like my permissions changed. I even restored my active plugins settings to where they were before the deletion:

    a:17:{i:0;s:57:”custom-background-extended/custom-background-extended.php”;i:1;s:43:”events-calendar-pro/events-calendar-pro.php”;i:2;s:34:”gm-post-type-corporate-partner.php”;i:3;s:30:”gm-post-type-press-release.php”;i:4;s:29:”gravityforms/gravityforms.php”;i:5;s:24:”jdrf-subpages-widget.php”;i:7;s:33:”opg-lock-posts/OPG_lock-posts.php”;i:8;s:25:”opg-search/opg-search.php”;i:9;s:46:”really-simple-guest-post/simple-guest-post.php”;i:10;s:79:”the-events-calendar-facebook-importer/the-events-calendar-facebook-importer.php”;i:11;s:43:”the-events-calendar/the-events-calendar.php”;i:12;s:45:”tt-guest-post-submit/tt-guest-post-submit.php”;i:13;s:33:”widget-context/widget-context.php”;i:14;s:41:”wordpress-importer/wordpress-importer.php”;i:15;s:46:”wordpress-mu-domain-mapping/domain_mapping.php”;i:16;s:24:”wordpress-seo/wp-seo.php”;}

    Where is my syntax going wrong in this field? What’s the correct course of action for restoring my full functionality?
