Change WordPress 2.7 Dashboard Theme... (2 posts)

I'm interested in customizing the theme of my wordpress dashboard FOR my subscribers

All I want is to remove the tab "Dashboard" and the "Right Now" box which tells my members a little too much about my site and ONLY let them have access to "Profile" (remove TOOLS as well)

This way when members log in ALL they can do is edit their profile settings and subscription settings.
How can I do this in wordpress 2.7????

I would also like to change it so that when members log in they are redirected to the home page of my site and then to access the dashboard they have to click the dashboard link in the Meta widget.

Please any advice on these two issues would be greatly appreciated! Is there a way to make these changes and NOT affect the ADMIN dashboard, just all other members?

Thanks for your advice and help in this issue.

WP Hide Dashboard sounds like it would do the trick for you.

Though it does not directly resolve any of your problems, I also recommend checking out Skullbit's excellent plugin, Register Plus. You can use it to brand your login, and do more with your subscribers.
