Hi fl401
Facebook liking is outside of the plugin’s scope. Have a look at http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/ to get you started using FB’s like button.
Good luck

Thank you for your reply!
I’ve tried, but I don’t know how to put the like button for every image that enters in contest. Maybe you can help me?
Or if you could tell me how to ban an ip range from voting, that will be awesome.
Thank you very much!

You can often ban IP ranges directly from CPanel or Plesk, if your host allows that. If not, there are WP plugins that can help. That’s not going to just stop someone voting, but stop them from seeing the site altogether.
Unfortunately, blocking IPs within the voting plugin isn’t in something that’s a high priority. I will add it to the list of things to consider for future versions, but I’m not sure when (or if) that will make it in.
Talking you through the facebook like button is also a little out of scope just for this forum π Have a look at the URL I posted, that should get you started.

trying but not succeding
anyway it would be nice if you add a sort by votes option. Really need one! π

Sorting by voting results is in the Premium add-on. You can see more information on that feature at my site, http://shauno.co.za/wordpress/nextgen-gallery-voting-premium/

will you include in the future that in the basic theme?

Most likely not. Giving away a paid-for feature would be very unfair to the people that are currently supporting the development by purchasing the add-on.

what is the user_id referred to as opossed to IP?

This stores the user id if the person voting is logged into WordPress. Then it can be used to prevent duplicate votes if you have the ‘Only allow logged in users’ and the ‘Only allow 1 vote per person for this image’ or ‘Only allow 1 vote per person for this gallery’ options set

How can I limit a vote to one computer, for limiting those who have a dynamic ip? Thank You!

You cannot. I want to add cookies to the list of ways to stop duplicate voting, but of course then all a user has to do is clear their cookies and they can vote again.
This is also a difficult task with the way WP handles the calling the plugin and the previous page output.

The plugin cand be used in another intarface than wp?

No, the plugin is specifically built to add voting to NextGEN Gallery, and that is for WordPress only
