Change uploaded file default URL

Hi all,

New to wordpress so bare with me if i’m asking silly questions!!

What i’m trying to do is verify a google apps account by uploading a html document onto the site.

To do this the page url needs to be http://mysite.com/googled…………html

However when I upload it to wordpress it does not seem to give me the option so select the URL I want but gives me a default which is
http://mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/googled………….html

Is there any way I can upload this without the
wp-content/uploads/2011/06/
part of the url?
